There are limits to everything - and to worries too. Of course you don't want to be taking meaningless risks, but to live like a chicken is not an option either. But this is more philosophical, here is my question.
USCIS may send RFEs for whatever and whoever they think it's reasonable. They can investigate and reinvestigate and GC holders and citizens, it's their job. Now tell me. How many you know of GC holders who got denied their citizenships because they just threw away their W2s? How many GCs were actually revoked and people were deported because USCIS investigated company and found out that most of the employees were H1b?

Yes that is assuming they have not lived in this country for the past 10 years. My husband's employer has filed his GC the last day before the 5 year and every year his job changes to restrcture they keep filing his labor again and again and it is such a mess.
It won't be so terrible for those who filed in 2006/07 to wait another 2-3 years. Plus poeple like me (PD sep 2004) will file in the new Point system reducing backlog for others.

I have been thinking for a long time to own a gun but due to my H-1B status could'nt own one. My I-140 was approved last year and now I am working on EAD.

Please help me understand how this thread about $1 is Rs. 44 or whether $1 is Rs. 46, helping in achieving IV goals? I am just scratching my head in an attempt to figure that out. There are many other forums on the internet where you could discuss anything under the sun. There are many other forums where you could discuss everything about exchange rate variations. Why don�t you go and discuss it over in those forums?

some people get it easily and some dont. Bridgeport, CT DMV is very crowded most of the time and tough to get things done. There are a lot of people of a kind that come there and it is tough. you must try Westport etc kind of areas next time.

USCIS does not process cases in PD order, because they can't. Thousands of files they receive, are sequenced in order they receive them at Centers. They claim that cases are processed in order they receive them. For them "Receive Date" is not what you see on your receipt, it is the date they physically received the case (thus if case is moved from one center to another, meaningful Receive Date is the date it was recieved by the last center). You see this data online status as "...we received (or transferred) your case on ...".
PD critieria is limited to certain countries only. Therefore, by and large, "cases are processed in order they are received..." works well. However, for India, China etc. where PD cutoff has to be factored, it is used merely to decide to work or skip a file (when seen in the receive date order). If PD cutoff date is very restricted, they will have to skip a lot of cases, which slows them down. If not expunged, it will FOR SURE pop up immediately they punch your name in. You certainly can not lie there. You will be deported. If expunged, you still have chance BUT NOT to lie..If the form ask " If you have ever been arrested" say yes and as others suggested have all your documents ready from court but make sure you have all originals and notarized documents if required for all court orders pertaing to your case.

I would do the following.
I will open a SR on the first working day of the September (As you have already done this and can not do one more SR in the next 45 days)
Will taken an infopass around 10th of September (Just waiting to see whether the date retrogress or not. If the date stays as it is for October 2010 i don't go to infopass otherwise i will go to infopass around mid of September to find out more details)

If you really look at who is paying less and misusing the H1-B and L1 to manipulate the job market, its the big offshore companies who bring the less experienced folks from India/China and other asian countries into US. These biggies pay way too less (52 to 57K) to these folks than what the conultants who work for local consulting companies make.
They apply for 1000's of H1B's and L1's showing the positions in US but 60% of the folks works back in their offshore centers in China or India with H1B/L1 stamped on their passport. Question is, if they applied for H1B / L1 based on an existing position in US and gets approved, why is that folks are still working in India or China center? Doesn't that mean they faked the position?
When we consolidated the vendors and excluded all the local consulting companies to include only two of the big offshore companies, we have seen their consultants brought onsite leaving them after few months at our group to join local consulting companies for better pay.
To me, they manipulate the job market displace americans much more than the local consulting companies.
I truely hope CIS look deep into these manipulations and frauds as well.

And really this is not related to IV effort but more to do with my own way of thinking about parting with my money..I love my money..:)...

They tell that it is ultimately result in Saving, Dividend etc. So my question is Does paying EXTRA PREMIUM ( i think it will be substantially high for whole life) RESULT in EQUIVALENT OF SAVINGS OR DIVIDENS? or just agents recommends that because they get more commissions with that?

Yes. That is exactly what happens. Everytime a cut-off date advances in a certain category, a sweep is conducted of all previously submitted I-485s, and either continue their processing, or if processed far enough, approve it. If a category retrogresses, processing on the case may or may not stop, but APPROVAL IS IMPOSSIBLE if the PD is before the cut-off date.
