I know Steve has some kind of plane to take on the Pentium world hes a smart guy especially if he got this far.

Let me tell you I was so excited about the "new Pentium 4 Processor" when it came out. To tell you the truth there is not a whole lot difference between Pentium 3 700Mhz, and Pentium 4 2.4Ghz. I was actually dispointed because everybody made such a big deal about it. The Mhz numbers looked nice on p4 but I waisted my money!

It's not ready for the masses yet, but if you know even the slightest about tech (in its use, not in more technical aspects), it *really* is a superior device at the moment.
How does knowing something about tech make it a superior device? Are you basing it on something like a feature list? It is a highly inferior device because it is an inferior means of accomplishing the vast majority of tablet-related tasks as compared to the iPad. I'm not knocking Android by any means—it will continue to evolve and tablet offerings will improve—but in the tablet world it trails a considerable distance behind iOS and that is what matters most.

EF-s lenses produce smaller image circles. So they are lighter (and cheaper) than a comparable EF lens would be. That's it.
Note the focal length is always the focal length. A 50mm lens still has a 50mm focal length on a 1.6 crop camera. It has a different effective field of view, but that's not the same thing.
Also note this has been going on forever: a 50mm lens on a medium format camera (obviously with a bigger image circle) as a different field of view that it does on a "full frame" camera.

I work for a large telecom company and was installing home internet service for a customer that had an iPhone. When I asked if he wanted me to set up his wifi for him he said sure. When I looked at it the top right hand corner said T-mobile. I looked at the phone and said to myself T-Mobile? Then just carried on. So now looking at this article makes me think that they are actually testing it on their network. I don't know what to think of it actually.

I messed with it for about 5 minutes and it's nowhere near Soundtrack, IMO. Now I'm not an audio or video pro, but I like to do some tinkering. But as someone else stated, Adobe Audition is much more competition to Soundtrack is than SoundBooth.
Also, this doesn't necessarily need to be a UB. Heck, from what I saw it doesn't really even fill a need with the Intel Macs. Logic and Soundtrack seem to be much better options.
Absolutely, I have no idea why the mac rumors article said it was a competitor to SoundTrack Pro. I'm at a conference in San Francisco and spoke with an Adobe rep who was demoing Soundbooth. It's meant for an audience who doesn't care about the advanced features of Audition but would like to clean up audio or build simple beats. While it does have a couple of similar features to Soundtrack, it's a much more basic program.
Also, I questioned the guy about the PPC thing. He said any existing programming that supports PPC will continue to be supported through at least one more release, since they already have the PPC code foundation. Anything new will be Intel-only, because the architechture is the same. They were told that if they waited for Soundbooth to be released on PPC, there would be no Mac version of Soundtrack.

I'm guessing you still needed to use a "slipstreamed" XP SP2 CD with the SATA drivers installed so it doesn't run in dog slow PIO mode

I made a MacPro driver CD from Bootcamp, and a slipstreamed XP SP2 CD. The slipstreamed XP SP2 CD boots up just fine holding "c" at boot.

It appears you are reading these posts, but are you comprehending what he said? Sydde was talking about politicians from different parties working together towards a common goal where ideologies come together and blend into a solution that those with differences can agree upon.
the common man voted conservative because they understand that budgets have to be balanced in households so it should be the same with the government. Um the liberals did quite a good job reducing the debt and running a surplus, yes things got rough the last few years, but so far there hasn't been a lot of emphasis by the conservative party to balance the budget or to reduce our debt.

that's exactly what i was wondering about! i don't know if EU regulations apply to the ipad, but they certainly do apply to the iphone. and i think, apple has to include a miniUSB port (standardized charger) to the iphone 5 if they want to sell it here in europe. a simply dock connector just won't do.

I always question the sanity of people who use laptops this way.
Color me insane then. Tapping the trackpad is way easier than clicking it, and I don't ever recall making an accidental tap the had any negative impact.
