So who is going out today to try and find one? I personally think the chances are slim to none.
If history is going to repeat itself with this iPad launch, the Apple stores will trickle in 10 or so units every day until the initial demand is met. It will be very difficult to get one for a while (I'd say for at least a couple months), unless you're willing to call every Apple store in your area every day in hopes to reserve one before others do.
I've resigned myself to the simpler option: I've ordered online with a three-four week delivery timeframe. And with that I feel like I'm evolving.

I'd much rather the NDP were in charge but ideally all three major parties need to be more centrist, IMO.

From what I saw, I wouldn't assume that it's included, but perhaps just a quick mention of the Server version having some new changes. Perhaps someone in the dev program will be able to shed more light, though.

Just buy T-Mobile. Its cheap and compatible with the current iphone hardware.
Apple would have to add AWS (1700 MHz) frequency support to the iPhone and iPad, but as mentioned upthread that should be less work than adding CDMA.

An MVNO arrangement would give Apple some flexibility, with preference to T-Mobile but the option to fill in gaps through wholesale arrangements with other carriers.

Can't wait to see what they announce. It would be nice to see a bigger jump than usual for iOS and hopefully a shipping date for Lion.

Let's stop for a moment and think about this without any knee jerk reaction against at&t.
The at&t network in New York City is not able to handle any additional network traffic. It makes sense due to the amount of users in such a small area.
What should at&t do?
I think it is reasonable to temporarily stop selling the iPhone considering the network in New York City. They can resume sales after the network has been upgraded to handle the additional traffic.
at&t has not sunk to a new low. They are finally taking responsibility for their network by not overloading it with any additional data heavy iPhone users.

people are overreacting about this.
1. you physically have to go to places and check in for anyone to see where your at.
2. you control who sees it. you can set it up so all your friends see it or only certain ones. if your worried about someone knowing your not at home. you might want to think who you have for friends on your FB account because they are the only ones that will know where you are or you aren't

Either way, if you've been in twice and both times she's disappeared, that's a definite no-no. Given that generally retail staff are employed to be on the shop floor and if they hang around the stockroom, they get bollocked, it's an avoidance tactic.
If you really want a last chance option, go to the store to buy something (even if it's blank discs), watch the theater for a while beforehand, don't make eye contact if you see her and see what happens. So long as you actually buy something, she shouldn't think you're stalking her and she may come over. But I think it's highly unlikely.

A nice contrast of warm and cold colors. The diagonal framing is severe enough to look deliberate and works well with the surreal lighting. If you were to take another whack at it, you might consider placing an object or a person in a window or in the doorway to serve as a focal point. As it is, there isn't really one place in the frame that serves as the primary visual pay-off or subject of the image. Also, you might try an exposure that gives you some more range of tonality, since the blacks are really crushed here, and they occupy large areas of the frame.
Of the three shots I got off that night this was the best one in my opinion. The others just had too much light. Although they didn't have nearly the black fields of this shot (other shots (http://itwontshootitself.blogspot.com/2010/02/night-light.html)). I have printed this out at 20x30 for somebody and really liked the enlargement.
I get your suggestioin about a focal point. That brings up some interesting questions about how to light it. It would have to be very deliberate so as not to spill into the red and blue. As it was I ran around in the dark with a flashlight to light the scene. The total exposure time was 66.7 seconds. :) Perhaps even a faint image of somebody sitting in the foreground. Maybe even a ghostly figure -- only in the frame temporarily so that the cabin bleeds through.
I shot fully open at f-1.4 (it was a dark night). There really wasn't anything of interest in the black areas. That's not to say I couldn't stage anything. The biggest challenge was that I was in a "day use only" area and was worried the park ranger was going to run me off at any moment. My biggest complaint is that they reds are blown out in the right hand window.
The location is only about 45 minutes away. Perhaps I'll give it another go sometime. I've added some strobes and remote triggers to my kit since then. Although I do like the uneven lighting from the flashlight. The way the blue streaks it make me think of an underwater scene.
