we have the choice between love and hate. He chose love over hate and he reached the pinnacle of his career. It's a great honor to be recognized by the best of the artists in the world, as the greatest. It's no simple feat. It takes lifetimes to get there!

He made India proud at Oscars and all Indians are very proud of him. Time to rejoice.

it depends on the individual hospital... your downside is only your wife getting fired... which might not really happen unless your wife supplies 100 A grade nurses to the directly competing hospital across the street... if she does that, anyway she wont care for the job.... :-) all the best... let us know how it goes...

My wife is doing residency using her EAD and she wanted to start a medical staffing company. Would there be any problem from the 'hospitals' since she is working as full time employee or is it depending on the individual hospital contract?

Used AC21 to change employer. I am currently working on EAD.
E-Filed - June 15,2008 (for both me and my wife)
FP - July 12,2008
July 23 - My wife's EAD approved
July 30 - RFE for photos(?)
August 4 - received RFE letter
August 6 - responded RFE (sent photos)
August 7 - uscis received RFE(case resumed)
my current EAD expires Sep 26,2008
For the past 2 days trying book get infopass. I am getting a message saying "No appointment is available, Please try again later".

I don't think this is true. As a CSR, case is assigned to you, not you choose the case. I think it's the same way to IOs. PD current cases will be assigned to IO, not IO looks into paper mountains to find case to adjust....

If PD is not current, case is put aside and next file is considered. Due to huge filings in July'07, resultant chaos, and shuffling cases around between centers before entering them in the system, if your file is way below in line (eventhough you deligently made sure to have it with USCIS on July 2, AND your PD is current), no one is going to look at your file, until your turn (in order of final data entry) reaches.

AFAIK, AP is considered only for emergency travel. That said, I think the officer was being over reactive.
As we all know, immigration laws are arcane. AP for emergency travel was ok when people used to get GC within 6 months of 485 filing. Now, when it can take anywhere from 1 to 3 years to get GC after 485 filing, does it make sense to have AP for only emergency?! Crap...

Who the hell r U kidding? By calling urself "BharatPremi" u r making a BIG fool of urself. If u r really a patriotic Indian why the hell did u apply for ur GC? Just work for those 6 H1B yrs and get the hell out of this country. The day I filed my application for permanent residenship in US (which is a way to become US citizen), I gave my heart to US. I believe that if tomorrow we are given a chance to become US citizen, many of us ( maybe not 100%) will grab the opportunity and take oath for aligience to US. Immidiately all the so called love they are showing now for their own country will vaporate in a day or in a second.
Friend, you have sited leagal reasons and directed me to the US Supreme court. I am not sure if you had already asked US Spereme court or whther you are a learned lawyer of US legal system. If not I would suggest instead of directing me to ask the Supreme count you can do this favor of asking and verifing this matter.
Also my friend you took the liberty to comment about my ethics and had commented that I have sold my soul. I guess you did not read my comment clearly. I had only congratulated Our President on winning the graet Nobel Peace prize and had written that me and my family is greatly pleased at his winning the prize. Dear friend do you know how many members of my family are US citizen. So if I say our President it includes me , my wife and my whole family (including my in laws and my siblings).
From your posts it appears that you think of yourself as highly educated, I belive you are :D. I ihink as highly educated we should read clearfully before calling names to others.
My apologies to the starter of this thead that this thread has been hijacked for mud slugling and calling names. Athough I belive I have not written anything bad about anyone, but this people hijacked this thread after my congratulatory comments to our President. I share the blame for this thread being hijacked. So this will be my last post on this thread.
Before I end, I am very pleaseed to see that there are still many of us who has the courage to call a spade a spade and point out the hypocrats. Hats off to them.

There is no such thing as "invoking" AC21. Its a law. Most important thing is, your I-140 must have been approved and I-485 is pending for more then 180 days....you are Free to sail in the same or similar field.
Forget about option 2.

How about if I send in Ac 21 paperwork and still be on leave of absence from my present company which sponsored my GC. It only gives me peace of mind because in case the new job does not work out I can still come back...

Eventhough USCIS center system accepts the finger prints, FBI system may reject for the quality of Finger print reason.In that case one can get another notice.I did read this some where in FBI or some immigration attorney's FAQs.If I re collect I will post the link.
We(my husband,my two kids,and I) did finger printing on July 19,2007. Now My older son 13 years old got finger printing again. Why?, what does it mean.

Fill out the G-639 form and take it to a notary. Have him notarize the document when you sign it in his presence. Worked for me.
