Recieved much awaited emails yesterday, "Card Production Ordered" email.
My PD is 03/13/2006, I didn't do anything special like calls to USCIS, emails, inquiries etc. Just waited for my turn.

It is not good disparaging the countries needing TV by calling them idiotic and asking for boycott etc. Please know that you are living in a country (USA) which is far worse than those "idiotic" countries in this respect since 2003. US needs C1 visa for transiting through its airports even when you have a valid VISA stamp in your passport to a destination country and you need to fill eqaully gruelling application (DS 156). Also you need to carry documents for travel purposes and financial support.

my lawyer's office just called me saying they would want to file ASAP, for which they want my signatures tomorrow. I met her an hour ago, when she was saying things like "hopefully by next week".
So whether or not this is a rumour, it sure has clicked the panic button for lawyers too!

I've sent 7001 form to ombudsman and wondering how many days it will take to get a response from them. Can you tell us how long it took for you to get response and how did they contact you? Also after sending 7001 did you follow up by calling or mailing ombudsman?

My immigration doctor told me that if i had chickenpox in childhood i do not need the varicella vaccine? Which i did at age 5. Please, let me know if anyone else was told the same , i will be going back to him on Wednesday for the physical exam. I don't want to get a RFE on that.
If you had chickenpox in childhood, you have to show a letter. you no need to take varicella Vaccine. But my situation I had chikenpox in childhood, when i went to immigraiton doctor , i dint tell that i had chickenpox in childhood. Doctor told me to take Varicella Vaccine. I took that one.

Trying to wrap my head around 245i cases. All primary applicants you were physically present in the US on Dec 21, 2000 were eligible to file 485 before April 2001 (with approved labor + approvable 140). Spouses and children of those primary applicants who were not in the country have to apply using CP. So the data provided by USCIS does not contain all those CP applicants. BUT as the dates were current till 2004, USCIS/DOS HAD to know the exact number per country as consulates have to report CP applicant numbers. The only possibility for the discrepancy you mention is that USCIS horribly screwed up and we may have hundreds of CP applicants who are derivatives of 245i. Conspiracy theory ?? LOL. Man, we have to just laugh at our plight.
No racism intended here but historically speaking number of immigrants from Mexico/Caribbean/China probably had more numbers in 245i than India. So, you question remains interesting inspite of the CP applicants possibility I mention above.

This along with CIS giving "bad/incorrect" data to IV is indication of someone's malicious intentions.

To add to the list of sponsors/co-sponsors, Congress Debbie Schultz is a co-sponsor for the bill (so don't call asking for support, but you can call to appreciate their efforts).
I think it would be better to keep it brief. They don't have time, and we can't spend lot of time, or else we won't be able to call all of them. It took me 30 minutes to call all of them.
I read somewhere that Steve King is not supportive, infact he's opposed to this bill. So it would be wise not to call his office. I don't he'll change his stance 'coz he's part of numbersusa/other nut cases.
Also note the phone number of Robert Scott is wrong, it shows the phone number of Adam Schiff. I realized only after I called twice. but luckily I realised before I could go through the whole talking points.
Pls everyone call before its too late. we need to get this passed as this is our only hope. PLS CALLLLLLL!!!

On November 5, 2008, we mailed a notice acknowledging withdrawal of this application or petition I140 IMMIGRANT PETITION FOR ALIEN WORKER. NSC sent me a response that my GC got lost in mail as I raised a SR for card. My wife got CPO but I got a letter from USCIS NSC that my card was sent on the same day my I-485 approval notice was sent which I think is some mix up on USCIS and to file I-90 . I got all letters from USCIS but not this one so I called customer service and talked to 2nd level IO who went through my case and said card was never created. She will raise a new SR for that which was on 10/12/2010
