Hey mind your business. You don't know a thing about India and I am sure you wouldn't have even visited once in your lifetime. If you have problem with individuals, companies, sue them find legal ways to stop their wrong doing. It is good for everyone. Dishonesty is not a patent of any country. I did not send G-28 even though I have an attorney. I think that part is only if you want them to respond to your attorney rather than yourself.
Here are the answers to line numbers 10, 11, etc...
10 - Choose (b) and (iv) within (b)
11 - Choose (b)
13 - I chose (b) and (c) since I had done both of those things. You should choose accordingly.
14 - I left this one blank because I did not want to involve the attorney
15 and 16 - Just write your name and sign. Make all family members do this to avoid separate forms for each
17 - Leave this one blank once again because it is only if you want them to respond to your attorney.

Thanks Ram. What is strange that my attorney on record did not even get the letter of denial. I have scheduled infopass for Jan 5th. I have H1B until June 2009 and EAD unitil Sep 2009. My wife and I have been working on EAD and traveled on AP.
Question to you and other members: Can I work until Sept 2009? I don't think my letter says that EAD was revoked (that is me speculating until I get the letter)

- If you have not shifted to EAD,You can continue working on H1

Any thoughts about this one? I ask because I am not sure whether they send 1 receipt notice, 1 finger print notice for the entire family, or whether they send one for each applicant.

Seeing this data and if USCIS and DOS follow quarterly spillover (as some mentioned that this is the law), then things look a lot better. But again, who knows...
Quarterly spillover is very important for us and we should make sure that if that is what the law intends, then USCIS/DOS follow that.

I came across a couple who got their H1B approvals last yr with in 3 weeks to each other. One of them was in PIMS and other one not. So I feel approval date does not seem to be a criteria to base these delays upon.:confused:

I had the same issue...
Here is the short version of how it unfolded. I've seen some quick responses from USCIS.
9/15/2010 - USCIS email indicating that cards mailed for both me and spouse
9/16/2010 - Spouse received card
9/21/2010 - Got email (LUD) that my card returned undelivered.
9/22/2010 - Called customer service updated the address
9/23/2010 - Got my card in mail (wrapped in an usps priority envelope) with tracking number
I was pleasantly surprised with the fastness of USCIS.

My attorney's office contacted USCIS and was told that USCIS has current address on system :cool: They told that since the case is waiting for RFE it must have happend by mistake :confused:

Will you guys stop this madness atleast now?. If US started bending rules for people who send flowers, then everyone will try to manipulate the system. Any comment? It is a very interesting article, it look like an advice from the WSJ to the repubblican party : do not get dirty with the Immigration, becasue US citizens does not cares. I agree with that. The unemployment rate is very low, and the Agricolture business is based with the immigration labor, the same with trucking, storage and do not talk about resturant and cleaning business.

It is not true. The orignal text in IMMIGRATION AND NATIONALITY ACT says "Visas shall be made available, in a number not to exceed 28.6 percent of such worldwide level, plus any visas not required for the classes specified in paragraph (1), to qualified immigrants who are members of the professions holding advanced degrees or their equivalent or who because of their exceptional ability in the sciences, arts, or business, will substantially benefit prospectively the national economy, cultural or educational interests, or welfare of the United States, an d whose services in the sciences, arts, professions, or business are sought by an employer in the United States.

The item mentioned above is for EB2, meaning any spill over to EB2 is from unused EB1.

I am surprised that all other threads are getting updated quite frequently. People are posting question related to their RFE and as usual once they get answer to their problems, they vanish. People are posting jokes on IV, but when it is their turn to call, we've to "bump" this thread and send e-mails to members. So pathetic.
I felt very sad when I read 30000+ members donated some 4000 dollars in last two months. I felt my donation of about 1000 dollars since 2006 is being wasted to answer questions of or to solve the problems of these free riders &/or one question members.

Do you have F1 stamped or you just changed your status from F-1 to H-4?
My wife has H4 stamped on her passport which expired last year. We had got H4 extended last year, but has not been stamped. After that she changed status to F1 again not stamped. Now as per my lawyer's advice probably we will need to change her status back to H4.
My lawyer has suggested that it is not advisable to be on F-1 while applying for 485. You might argue that you are not the primary applicant ( on F1), and USCIS might buy that. But risks remain. Specifically if you have to travel out of country before your I-485 application is adjudicated you will have problem.
Since we all know that right now USCIS is just taking applications, and it might be mighty long time before applications are adjudicated, I have decided to not take risk applying on F1 status.

...is getting approved. My case is with an IO since Aug 3 and going by the trend, I should have received an update by now (within 2 weeks of getting assigned to the IO). Not sure whats going on :( This is the worst ever wait in my life. Wonder when its going to end???
