Shouldn't the photographer know about it? I get my passport size photos taken at costco. I think they make sure that photographs adhere to the standard.
The 485 and EAD requires total 4 identical photos of each person. I enquired at Walgreens, but their passport photo package contains only 2 photos. Any idea how to get 4 identical photos of the same person? Moreover, the photos must be 2 inch X 2 inch. How to get photos of that size?
Any help is really appreciated.

It seems more and more cases are getting pre-adjudicated. This is something we all knew but its good to see its pace in a nice little chart. I like these new USCIS site improvements

For those of us who have become "current" with the latest VB movements, I have some discouraging news for you: at least for the Nebraska Processing Center, the current processing date for an employment-based I-485 has retrogressed from September to August,2006. Only a small step backwards but a step backwards all the same.
It's still a step forward then not having an opportunity to file at all :cool:

My priority date is current now. I read somewhere that I have to file I-485 between June 1st and June 30th. is this correct?? what if my medical exam results are not ready and I am not able to file before June 30th?? can I still file during following month, July?? Please help. Thanks

I'm in trouble situation, maybe somebody can give advice.
I can file I-485(Eb3 March 2005). But my wife & daugther basically out of status. Their H4 visas were not extended.
Before june bulletin I was thinking to go back home with my daughter (she is under 18) and try to get visa in consulate. It was attorney advice. Also he suggest to file for an asylym for my wife.
Now I'm going to file I-485 for whole family regardless what attorney will tell me.
Is it good idea to go directly to uscis office and ask them (can I file)?
And what will happen if their apps gets denied?
Any ideas?

Guys do not feed the freeloaders by telling anything you are reading in the donor forum. Let these people help themselves by signing up for recurring contributions if they want helpful nformation about their EB2 PD movemement. We are still not meeting of our advocacy day amount. It is all because most people want free lunches. This needs to stop. The 200 people going to DC tomorrow are going to speak for you and me for yours and mine greencard. Just my 2 cents... Don't think USA is like India where you can do something forcefully. Why don't you guys understand the real problem of USCIS.
Do you think that by sending flower to USCIS will force them to make EB2/EB3 current for 2005/2006/2007 guys??
Please try to understand their problem.
Also India is the great. Why don't you guys just think that India is your home country where you are born and brought up. Why you people can't just wait and watch?? If nothing happens to the so called GC, then why don't you think to pack up and go back to India???????
My sincere request, please don't do rally, you might be arrested......you never know what they can do..... Don't you think that, it is better to go back to India rather than being embarrassed here in US???

The real question is whether 2 files is ok with USCIS. Lawyers are giving different opinion on whether u can do it or not.
If u can file 2 sets, then do ead/ap on one.
They probably won't even look at my wife's 485 for a year. But I *think* that the EAD/ap should be under my wife's. Not sure though. I would like both asap.

If you have other answers from lawyers, you can post them. Make sure to post the lawyer's name. Do not post your opinion. Post legal advice given to you by your lawyer, with the lawyer's name. This will help members get accurate advice and not opinions.
