We don't whitewash what happened unlike what your compatriots are trying to do here, when someone brings up corruption in India. I cited surveys by international agencies that make comparisons that consider a number of factors, not by anecdotal evidence based on a few high profile news stories.
Wasn't most of these corruption stories broken and pursued by american media itself? Didn't republicans lose power in 2006/2008 elections?

Nothing significant--still waiting for the denial letter. My attorney rcvd receipt stating that a copy has been sent.

Not sure whom to believe since after filing for AR11 in Oct 2004 (changed from apt to house), I called in Jan 2005 and asked to verify my address on record as well as address on I485--i was confirmed about my new address. Also, I have been correspondence on my changed address, receipts, letters and finger print notices. Does any one ever get confirmation in writing after submitting AR11?

Agreed on your point. But there are other discriminations at workplace such as , age, race, sex and sexual harrassment. Those who complain about it effectively terminate their careers. If you want to go , complain against this L1 misuse fine, but you are not going to get mileage, maybe some bad breath and bad publicity and eventual loss of reference & job. If your company / client has decided they do not want to persist with you, there are 101 ways they can get rid of you, legal or illegal, my suggestion is, if you were exposed,
can L1fraud hold his head high in front of his client and still ask for reference with no sense of guilt in future? If not, he has lost half the game but now wants to lose the other half in a self destructive manner.

On what basis you are saying that Oct'2008 PD will be similar to Jun'2007. Didn't you read the note in Sep'2008 VB that PD for EB3 category will retrogress further.
If you cann't support EB3 community then at least don't misguide people here. EB3-I is in severe pain right now and people like you can't understand it.

A generic breakdown of costs, without going into specifics, would help members understand the expenses and provide some transparency.

These are very tough and partisian bills (immigration bills). This also being an election year, some lawmakers will try to puch their own agenda. Don't expect a featherbed solution. This will be a dogfight.

I think he can just talk the talk.. it takes backbone to walk the walk.
These people are causing fissures in the community for their petty self-interests... just by plain talk.. It took years to build it.. and we see some hope because of what IV has achieved and things that are in pipeline.
At this critical juncture, if people are causing rift in the community and trying to sabotage our campaigns then such people need to be challenged.
if we are united we can achieve a lot!
United we succeed and divided we fail!!

Over the past couple of days I have had 10 of my friends/colleagues who have signed the letter and they have been mailed out to the president. I also have copies of them to mail out to IV once I have all that I can get..
I plan to call my Senators & Congressman's office's today too. I believe we need to get through to our friends and colleagues and talk about the issues in this letter. I have yet to come across one person who does not agree that our situation needs the attention of the administration.
I know I can get a few more of these letters signed by the end of this week.
Anyone out there who has more letters going out??:D
