normally iPod skins don't change the appearence of your surroundings....
Yes, and normally, iPods aren't always on white backgrounds. Last time I checked, my jean pockets were blue :)
I should also add, that the backgrounds are chosen based on what best suits the iPod. Normally Apple displays their iPods on white backgrounds because that's what they look best on, but when they came out with the U2 iPod(which BTW has a modded clickwheel) they have pictures of it on a black background(http://images.apple.com/ipod/u2/gallery/images/u2front20041026.jpg) because that's what it looks best with.
You can't expect people to make tons of unique skins and then not make backgrounds that show them in their best light. A white background wouldn't go with my skin design nearly as well.

If they keep the ON HOLD status for more than 45 days... That event is again a potential lawsuit material.... Because they are changing a Long standing practice which requires lawmaking ( ref: Rajiv Khanna's quote)
Regd AILA lawsuit i believe they are deliberately delaying so that USCIS change the Bulletin to C on its own ( from the fear of lawsuit). On the other hand USCIS is not doing that because they knows this weakness of AILA and trying to keep things stretching so that when OCT arrives this whole move will get weakened .... As soon as new bulletin with some availability comes out peoples will start losing motivation ...

Well, you can do PD porting :D :D. Adopt a 16-17 year American citizen kid(?), and you will be good to go soon. I guess you cant really adopt people beyond 18 years, but if you can, it will be like PD-porting to EB1 !! ;)

Banking service is still way behind in comparison to US institutions. ICICI has to compete with nationalized banks in terms of competency and customer service so they surely do better but it is highly openly discriminatory depending on how valuable they think you are to them. Something that exists here but is very transparent. But I am sure ICICI has engaged in many questionable practices from marketing to collection, there have been some lawsuits as well against them.

Don't fight for Eb2 vs Eb3 or Eb2 vs Eb1 etc. If we focus on these 3 bills then it will solve all our problems.
(1) STEM bill remove all MS + Phd people so Eb2 will be half empty and Eb1 will be 80 % empty.
(2) Re capture will bring new visas where they will go certaily to Eb3. ( Eb1 and Eb2 do not need visa if passes STEM bill )
(3) No Country cap limit. Will clean Huge line of Eb3 india, China , Phili..

Yes--Universties--come under non-profit as per INS, hence exempted from quota, but not Elem/Middle/High schools.
I got my H1B from a University starting Aug. As far as I understand, there is no H1B quota for non-profit. I also have a US degree. There is a separate H1B quota for US educated.
I don't know where I was plugged in. I don't remember any details.

- Company got acquired in later years . Filed new I140 ( I think it is called successor-in-interest)
- Recently started fresh EB2 process for interfiling of EB3 to EB2 . GC approved.

Congratulations...it's painful to see EB-3 folks wait for so many years and then hear EB-2 folks complaining about porting! Hopefully, all of us will come together and realize that the only way for us to get out of this mess is by supporting IV goals (no country limits, recapture, etc.).

You said USCIS is screwing you you by giving H1 and GC to these lesser degree fellas, and shame on them for doing this, yet you stand in line to get screwed by USCIS, everyday, again and again. And you are standing in line for what? the past 10 yrs only to get screwed everyday. I don't understand the desperation. Anyway, hope you get your GC soon. I don't know which is more fun for you, getting GC or standing in the line.
