Can someone tell me what is a good lawyer??? I think this term is very much like good politician.. They are extinct...
If someone using company lawyer to file I-485 and other forms, ask this lawyer will he send receipt notices to the applicant or not. Some will get answer that it's company policy not to sent anything to applicants :mad: .

Today I had an Infopass Appointment at 10 am. The IO told me, my NC is pending that's why I did not get FP.He told me to wait till July (ie is one yr from the date of applying)then open SR.
Got the same exact nonsense at my infopass as well.
With the new 180 day NC rule, does it even matter?
Bunch of bafoons are appointed as so called IIOs there..

You must have I94 showing H1B classification and validity dates to change status to H1. You can travel and re-enter with a H1 visa stamp and obtain h1 status. Please check with the company attorney,

As per VB:
The cut-off date for an oversubscribed category is the priority date of the first applicant who could not be reached within the numerical limits. Only applicants who have a priority date earlier than the cut-off date may be allotted a number.
They stress and bolded "Earlier Than" so i am not IN???? :confused::confused::(:(
No, you are not IN yet..sorry you just missed the window...It could be a chance for you in next Oct'08 VB..

Hello,
It will take hours. Let's put it this way; for one letter that is animated to spin, the file size is about 14-20k. Now 10 letters that are animated to spin will be around 200k alone. The process time does take hours.
It all depends on what configuration you have (AMD K6-2 550). On my PC it takes about 30 mins (P3 933), but that is still a long time to watch the Ravix processor draw all the lines individualy. What I usually do for large Swift 3D files, is simply export the outlines only. Then inside flash, I lay the movies on top of each other. So when they move, it creates an illusionary effect. For web based publishing, Swift 3D is just not a program that creates small files.

I have got exactly the same RFE.....i am going to send the same documents and hoping that this is enough. There was one question that was bothering me on my i485RFE. It started like this...............
Your FORM I485 Application Must be accompanied with two colored Photographs.................
I am confused if they mean that i should re submit the i485 application or just the letter taht came with it.
i also never got any colored sheet as i have heard most of the people got. Is this normal practise or something i should be conserned about

--I have EAD and 485 pending. My current status is H1B. But if I use my EAD without marriage...
--Later I get married and I cannot bring her here, but if I wait until my PD becomes current and at which point of time my spouse can be added to 485, so does my spouse need to maintain a valid non-immigrant status to be added to my 485 since she will be out of US.

I�m in EB2 and My I-140 was approved on March 2009 through Employer A. After which I moved to India and now am back (Nov 2010) with Employer B. My old Employer A has my apporved I-140.
It would be great if I get answer the below my Question:
1. Can I apply for I-485 with my new employer B based on my approved 140?? OR
2. Do I need to go back to my old employer A to apply my I-485. If yes is there any specific time period to go back to my old employer A.

What is unemployment wage report? I read that many visa seekers were asked for this.
