I am totally against the idea of banning/booting anyone who is in the same boat as us.
keep adding buzzwords, so that posts can get filtered out instead of banning members.

Thank you for posting it. It gives some possible timeframe relative approximation(??) of cases being looked at or even touched for various reasons, with respect to processing times too.

Here are the few main reasons for retrogression to India and China etc are
1) When H1B quota is 65, 000 the GC visa number is 140, 000 . But when they increased H1B from 65,000 to 195,000 the did not incresed GC visa numbers.
2) There is no country quota in H1B ( other than Chile and one more country for 7,000) visas. So most of the H1b's are issued to few countries like India,China and Philippines. But when we come to GC visa there is country quota.
3) We all know about that ilegal immigrants used some GC numbers which are meant for EB people.
We need to educate the USCIS why and how we are suffering in getting GC.
there is no need and use of blaming Desi companies. I do not support any illegal activities like sale of Labour certifications .
We all know about supply and demand theory which causes black marketing.
Selling of approved labour ( which has old PD ) is also same thing.

Hi I've been a NC victim for almost 3 years. I have heard all kinds of speculations on the real reason behind USCIS/FBI decision,like the amount of the tax you pay, your political view, your education level,etc. all influence the result. Could that be true or it's just purely a bureaucratic backlog? Something interesting to think about I guess.
They can do whatever they want under the cover of national security, even arrest you and keep in detention without bail, right ?

Maintain a detailed list of all legal troubles, including minor traffic infractions such as speeding violations (ignore parking violations, because they do not constitute legal "detention"), going as far back as possible. There seems to be no pattern among recent approval rate-My coworker didn't get any update from USCIS- he directly got his physical GC on 4th Sept.
We are still waiting, tried InfoPass, Raised SR, Contacted Senator etc.etc. I am willing to go to Lincoln,NE if that is what it will take to get GC:D

Does you think it might be possible that USCIS could hold the AOS application and automatically process the application with out any refiling cost ...with or With out encashing the checks...
This solution might be a possible fix to all Folks even if their PD comes in OCT Bulletin ....

If you look at the PD progress for EB3 I, the only movement was during March and April 07.

if the recapture bill doesnt pass, we are looking at something similar this year too, very little movement. My guess is that EB 2 I is also going to retrogress a bit, simply because of the number of applicants in that category. EB 3 ROW will also see slow movement because of the distribution pattern.

As per my research and talking to customer service of few american and india insurance companies, You are partly right that no one covers pre-existing conditions.
But indian companies like Icici lombard, Bajaj allianz, tata aig etc cover emergency life saving treatment even if it was due to the pre-existing conditions. Which means if one is diabetic, reguler sugar check and doc vists will not be covered but if say patients develops a critical condition (e.g kideny failure etc) then the treatment is covered.
But american companies do not cover even the emergency treatment.

today, status changed to notice sent, status moved back to decision
I believe there will be another email with welcome notice?

Looking at discussion going on here, its sure that IV have financial problems & only 5% (of total 8000 members) are contributing for the cause. Now, if we restrict IV website for "paid" visits, dont you think that IV membership is reduced by 95% to only 400 paying members?
Instead of making "Paid" web site, I think Moderators needs to delete derogatory posts & block such userids.
