How much time did the attorney ask for on the I-129 and LCA? If either is just one year, then there's no basis for appeal. CIS did nothing wrong.

Hello,
My labor certification was filed in December '07 and is in the process of audit (Fragomen law firm issue). Meanwhile, there is news that my company is being sold off. Will I be able to continue my GC process if the company gets sold off but I am able to retain the same job and title.
Is anyone else facing a similar situation? What are my options here?

Agree on the eye, it's important to see that, and have a little catchlight for making the animal look alive. Only problem with the first shot is the branch behind the head. It's blurred a bit which helps though. The background is difficult to control - you take what you get many times with animals and birds.

From the I-131 instructions document, find the list of docs required:
- I131 application
- copy of 485 receipt
- Copy of Driver's license
- Copy of I94
- Copy of H1 - I797 Approval Notice
- 2 Photos (A# and Name on back side with pencil)
- Check ($305) to U.S. Department of Homeland Security
- Send the application based on where you LIVE
Am i missing anything?
- I131 application

I Left Company A on April 27, 2004. Joined Company B on April 28 through H1b Transfer as CompanyB told me that they have filed H1b transfer documents. Got H1b Approval in Few months; , The H1b approval notice shows a receipt date of May 15. CompanyA never reported my job termination to INS. Now i have left Company B and joined Company C. Can anyone comment on consequence of this 17 days gap on GC prospects and What is considered my employment start date for companyB and employment end date with CompanyA.

I graduated in MS (I'm on H4 currently) recently.My previous degree is from India (passed out BCOM in 1999). I dont have any IT experience.
I'm talking with couple of companies about getting a H1. What documents I need to show for H1 for USCIS? Do I need to show any experience to USCIS?

You need to have a job offer, a LCA for the job, educational evaluation, I-129 and copies of your passport/i94 and degree. A supporting letter from the employer is also needed. No experience letter is needed to apply for H1, but to get it stamped you may need it.

Now, can I take up a job with a different title - say, "Finance Analyst" or "Corporate Finance"? I have been talking to various clients in California that are interested in offering me finance positions.

I have an old H1B visa with approval date December 19, 2000. I moved to US in Jan 2001 and spend only 2 months in USA in total. Stay outside USA from Mar 2001 until now.
Can I apply for the remaining time against my initial six-year period of admission and will be exempted from the cap?

You maintain H-1B status as long as there is a relationship between u and ur company. This is usually showed by paystubs. If you do not, you can apply for H-1B transfer, but then the extension of stay will most likely not be granted, as the USCIS needs to see your paystubs. I would speak to an attorney about this.

I have applied for my extension of H1B at Vermont Center. my first three years on H1b expired on Sep 8th. The application was filed on July 20th and it is normal processing. I have my H1b and H4 receipts with me, but its not yet approved. I am planning to take B1 visa appointment for my mother. Shall i send my mother to B1 stamping with H1B receipt.
Does Chennai consulate will accept H1b receipt for Visitor Visa or Shall we wait for H1b Approval? thanks in Advance....
